Geocaching at McKinnons Flats

It's a beautiful, warm day to be geocaching at McKinnons Flats, a Watchable Wildlife site on the Bow River, southeast of Calgary.

The only wildlife we saw was Calvin, though.

The kids call this one "the rock-eating monster" as the orange rock seems wedged into the hoodoo giving it the appearance of a mouth. You can even see an eye!

Calvin is getting tired

. . . as are Donnie Darko and Baby, whom Coreen has to carry.

Heading back

I want to continue to the top of the hill (because it's there), so Coreen takes the kids back.

Nice view

It's worth the climb.
